The Bombed Out Church, Liverpool
Easily one of the most iconic and distinctive venues in Liverpool, the Bombed Out Church is an inner-city haven, cultural hotspot and versatile events space. Bombed in the May blitz of 1941 the church was neglected for 60 years until impassioned volunteers cleared and reimagined the space into its current capacity.
The beautiful grounds within the walls of the managed ruin entertain an undeniable feeling of tranquillity and provide an ideal setting for any event.
The ‘Bombed out’ church, otherwise known as St Luke’s church, is now one of Liverpool, Merseyside’s most famous wedding venues.
The church, located on the corner of Leece Street and Berry Street, was once destroyed inside, but the shell of the building remained standing.

We will have our stunning marquee here in place over a long period which allows us to negotiate a better rate for you. Prices start from £6,500* for exclusive hire of the venue and grounds, which also includes the amazing see-through marquee, lighting and furniture fittings.
However, food and drink are excluded.

Would just like to thank the team at Elite Marquees – who from what I understand have been brilliant in helping my parents sort out a beautiful marquee for their joint 60th Birthday last weekend. Mark and Nick to be singled out for special praise. I only came in at the last minute to help set up and enjoy the day and night with them but was delighted at how happy my parents obviously were and the quality of the set up for them. I hired a marquee early in the year as living in this country you just never know !! So I asked Mark from Elite a) could it be put up on the block paving ? and b) how much ??? The answer was Yes it could be put up and the price … Very affordable. I was worried about having to remove some of the paving blocks to anchor the marquee and them being damaged or not going back in place properly but I needn’t to at all. The men who erected it and took it back down were excellent – no damage at all to any of my garden ornaments and pots and when the tent was taken down I struggled to find the blocks that had been removed !! They were very careful and respectful of my property and if I ever decide to have a similar event I will not hesitate to get them back again. Thank you very much for making my party successful.
