We need your help.
You may or not be aware that unlike Scotland, unfortunately English couples cannot legally get married outside or in a temporary structure such as marquees.
Up and down the country, both couples and suppliers would like the English parliament to legalise outdoor ceremonies.
In response to the average wedding costing more than £30,000, we need to legalise outdoor & marquee ceremonies as an alternative option to expensive wedding venues. This is legal in Scotland & has saved thousands of couples money. Why is England & Wales still abiding by a 180-year-old Victorian law?
A petition has been recently set up by Tim Verwey, who owns a marquee hire business in Devon, and Elite Marquees would like to support his cause.
